When it comes to styled shoots, this one is the tops. Not only because of the juicy and simply gorgeous photos below, but because it was an absolute joy to work on. The creative team was full of amazing creatives who worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life.
It's not often I even think about doing styled shoots, but this year be particularly open for creativity (#2020), I reached out to my good friend Rachel Clingen to see if she wanted to get creative together.
The initial concept for the shoot was a lush, familiar, colour saturated response to a micro wedding celebration on a private property. With the background of the newly opened Braestone Farm as inspiration, it was clear that the shoot could take on a modern approach or high fashion interpretation with the contrasting black exterior and white washed interior wood beams. Having that juxtaposition of dark and light also allowed us to play on mood and tone, creating a full range of experience from the first shot to the last.
