When the lovely Steph called me to coordinate her wedding day this past August at the newly restored Crystal Ballroom at the King Edward Hotel, I couldn't have been more excited. She had already put together an incredible team of vendors to pull off what would be a fantastic Jewish wedding, and had so much style incorporated into the design of the day. I was thrilled to help her pull together those finishing details, tie up loose ends, and make sure the day was going to go off without a hitch. From the gorgeous soft floral colour palette that complimented the Crystal Ballroom's robin's egg blue ceilings and vintage mouldings, to the pretty details at each place setting, I loved the overall aesthetic that we were bringing together for the wedding. It's always such a privilege for me to work on weddings where the bride's vision for the day is completely in line with what I would have personally done.
But I think what made Steph & Adam's day so amazing was the people! This group knew how to party, and I was given notice in advance of what was surely to be the "most epic Hora" I would have ever seen. Now, I've seen a few incredible Horas in my day but I had no idea what I was in for. The groomsmen pulled out all the stops to ensure guests were blown away by energy, fun, and a bit of danger. From shooting hoops on the dance floor, to dancing on tables, to jumping rope with a human skipping rope- I kid you not, it was definitely the "most epic hora". Don't believe me? See the photos below!
Thank you to Steph & Adam for allowing me to be a part of their gorgeous day. I am so blessed to be surrounded by incredible couples, their family & friends, and their memories.
Check out a snapshot of this great day below, captured by the amazing Scarlet O'Neill.

Yes, that is me running behind them with a massive pink garment bag that contained a new veil for the bride. A rip in a veil? No problem! I'll always have you covered.

Can you believe that stunning chuppah? All flowers and decor were done by my friends at Stemz. Not only are they fiercely talented when it comes to all things beautiful, but they are such lovely humans to work with. Makes my job a hundred times easier!

Proof of the epic Hora! Not pictured: Me covering my eyes in the corner of the room as I passed the groomsmen their props to continue the party. How could you not have a blast with a fun group like this?

Gorgeous sweet table above by miss Nadia & Co. And trust me, her treats always taste as delicious as they look.
